New website features

Well, the new website has now been up and running for over a month and I thought it was time to highlight a couple of the features you may not have spotted:

"Dim the lights"

This is a great way to view individual photographs.  Simply right click on the image you'd like to view and click on the "Dim the Lights" option to view.

"Add to favourites"

Adding a photograph to your favourites is a great way to save the photographs you like the most and keep them all together in one place.  You can add photographs from lots of different galleries to your favourites folder.  Once these images are in your "Favourites" folder you can then choose them quickly to order prints and you can easily share your favourites folder with your friends & family.

"Preview & Configure"

You now have more choice regarding the print you actually receive.  By clicking on the "Preview & Configure" option, or simply by clicking on the photograph image once it's in your shopping basket you can select the specific crop of your photograph - i.e. if you'd like a closer image to crop out an unwanted image in the background simply click on the orange guide bars to change your photograph.

Within the "Preview & Configure" option you'll also be able to select the type of paper your image is printed on:  Glossy or Matt/Lustre finish FujiFilm Crystal Archive photographic paper

Framed Prints

One of the new options for purchasing prints gives you the option to receive your prints already mounted and framed.  You have the option to choose the colour of your card mount, how many layers of card mount you'd like (1, 2, or 3 layers, all with colour options) and finally the style of frame that you think best suits your print.

There are so many options available - your framed prints will be totally bespoke to you!  You can see a couple of suggestions in the slideshow gallery beneath:

New products

Alongside the framed prints you'll also see that there are lots of new options of what you can do with photographic images - here are just a few of my favourites:

  • Collage Prints Why not create a collage print from your favourite photos. Available as A4, 16" x 12" or 20" x 16".
  • Digital Downloads - alongside the high resolution images there's now the option to purchase a low resolution image for just £5. These low resolution images are spot on for use on social media networks such as Facebook & Twitter.  Low resolution images are not suitable for printing.  There's also a great 3 for 2 offer on low resolution digital images.
  • Photo mouse pad - A mousepad sporting one of your favourite photos makes a welcome addition to any workspace. They're a great way to inject some colour into your office and are certain to make you the envy of your colleagues.  Flexible fabric-coating with a rubberised underside suitable for any mouse and desktop.
  • Photostickers - 16 per sheet. This is one of those products that once you've discovered it you won't want to live without it. Stickers are handy for so many things - just peel 'em off and stick 'em to just about anything you like.
  • Jigsaw Puzzle - Puzzles are popular with both kids & adults. Create a 60-piece puzzle of your home, a pet, a family protrait, or your favourite vacation spot. Made from a dazzling lustre photo print backed by sturdy card.
  • Photo coasters & placemats - These beautifully made coasters & placemats are just the thing to impress your dinner party guests. Choose a single design or mix up a couple of different images if you're ordering a few sets. They're heat resistant and very practical.
  • Tempered Glass Cutting Boards - Spice up your kitchen with a custom imprinted cutting board. Custom cutting boards are perfect for home chefs or restaurant owners alike, and make a great gift.  You can imprint any image on the specially coated tempered glass that is durable and dishwasher-safe.

Happy viewing!
